Wanna do cider on the cheap, developed this recipe with readily available supermarket ingredients in NZ. We use a pasteurized, preservative free apple juice, that is comes with stevia and will carry on sweetness after fermentation. It costs around NZD20 per the ~10L when juice is on special.
For around 10 L of cider:
- 9.6 liters of 50% sugar Keri Apple juice
- 500g of dextrose
- nutrient per the specs
- 10g of champagne yeast,
After fermentation:
- Sweetening:
- 1g of aspartame or your choice of sweetener
- Fining: 10 g of bentonite. Could need a second batch
- Flavorings
